Brighter Bites is the nonprofit with a mission to create communities of health through fresh food. Brighter Bites does this through a three-part formula: produce distribution + nutrition education + a fun food experience. The families participating in the program receive approximately 50 servings of fresh fruits and vegetables along with healthy recipes and tips each week of programming. Volunteers will help pack 1,000 bags of fresh produce for families to take home this week at one of the four sites in Monterey County: Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, Frank Ledesma, First Tee.
